NY: The MacMillan Company, 1918. new edition with a new preface. Hardcover. VG-, shows some wear but tight and clean. Abbott H. Thayer; Geral H. Thayer; Richard S. Meryman; et al. Green publisher's cloth with faded gilt title on spine. Gilt title to spine, but front board is plain with no title embossed or printed. xix + 260pp. 14 of 16 color plates, 140 bw figures. A scarce and often sought reference on camouflage. Also noteworthy because plate XI is the first appearance of a Rockwell Kent illustration in a book.
