A Mentor Book, London, C.1980,. see description. large heavy 8vo, 710pp, frontis portrait of Josephus from a fine engraving (with tissue guard), on card which is not acid free, this is spotted in the margins, more so on the blank reverse, which affects the verso of the half-title and the fore-edge of the title page, otherwise the contents, in two-column format, clean and very good, original blind-stamped cloth, title gilt on spine, the boards have some dark spots and are scuffed - perhaps only in need of staining a darker colour particularly as the spine, apart from a little creasing at the top, with its black-stamped decoration still looks good.
