The book deals with developing and printing both color and b/w film. It also offers a section on light control, colour contrast and the functions of light and shadow. A well illustrated book with 16 colour plates and 16 b/w plates. Mr. Feininger is an ideal guide being one of the greatest photographers of our time....his advice is original, helpful and forthright. Black cloth boards with gilt decoration to front board....gilt title print to spine. Small spot of 'white-out' used to ffep. Light damage to one corner tip of front board. This text is solid, clean and most serviceable in a price intact dust jacket.. Fourth Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
