Cambridge: The Author, 1738. full calf binding, small (1cm) cracks to hinges at spine heads, leather on boards scuffed where the books, left too long on the shelves, had become stuck to each other (see photos), some mild soiling on title pages, but text otherwise clean and tight throughout, illustrated with 83 folding engraved plates. Signed by an early owner (Richard Moore), who notes that he paid £2 and 8 shillings for it.. First Edition. Full-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to.
