Each volume with 15 full-page etchings with additional smaller illustrations (17 in Vol. 1 and 15 in Vol.II) on india proof paper, folding facsimile of Walton's last will and testament in Vol. I. A few small stains to covers, contents clean and tight, nick to front outer joint near crown to Vol. I. Covers slightly bowed, not uncommon with vellum.

Using the text of the 1897 Bodley Head edition, being the text of the 1676 edition with modernised spellings.
