Very good in full reverse calf (suede), ruled and ornamented in blind on covers; gilt titles and ornaments on spine over crimson and black spine labels. Some edgewear, especially to head and foot of spines, with some exposed headbands; corners a little rubbed. Previous owner's bookplates on front pastedown, with the motto, "in labore quies". Bindings sound and tight.. Octavos. 14.5 x 22 cm. 485; 520, xix; 455, xxvii; 443, vii pp. + index. Vol. II includes fold-out "Table of Descents" (family tree) of John Stiles. Nice, handsome set of Blackstone's magnum opus and definitive work on English common law. A complete set of four volumes -- may require extra postage.
