French: Who crossed Ripple View after dark without getting a load of buckshot in the back of his neck. C. Culpepper, Bard, alias Nixson Denton. With "[Received July 27, 1927]" written in another hand at the bottom of the page ( presumably by French)" Nixson Denton was a newspaper columnist for the Cincinnati Times-Star and this book is a collection of his humorous columns. A very scarce book, especially signed!. 8vo., dark-gray pictorial wraps; 160 pages. Foreword By Frank Y. Grayson. Illustrations By George Bristol.. Very Good (little wear covers; contents clean & tight, little wear to lower corner on first two pages). Three related newspaper clippings inserted.
