Hardcover. xli, 670p., editors' notes, introduction, annotations, textual notes, bibliography, indexes of titles & first lines, near-fine first edition, first printing stated in cloth boards and bright unclipped dust jacket. The 1979 Collected works was Grier C*** (A?). Includes newly discovered poems not printed in the earlier collection. Her work encompassed writing for The Daily Worker, activism on the Scottsboro case, she was in Spain when the Civil War broke out and she wrote a book on it, she was called before HUAC. She was bisexual.
