New York: Random House, 1965. Signed Limited Edition. Fine/Near Fine. First edition. Copy #348 of a limited 500 signed by Truman Capote. Publisher's black cloth binding stamped in gilt and red, in original acetate jacket and paper-covered card slipcase. A Fine copy, with just a small bump to top margin of pages. Near Fine acetate jacket with faint shelf wear and very slight edge wear, in Near Fine slipcase, which is lightly marked and lightly shelf worn. A stunning copy of one of Capote's best-known works, detailing the unexplained murder of the Clutter family in small-town Kansas.

Synopsis

In Cold Blood is a 1966 book by American author Truman Capote. The book details the brutal 1959 murders of Herbert Clutter, a wealthy farmer from Holcomb, Kansas, and his wife and two of their children. When Capote learned of the quadruple murder before the killers were captured, he decided to travel to Kansas and write about the crime.
