Boards bumped at corners but clean, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with expected toning and marking to edges. Feels read. Bump to head and foot of spine. Tape pulls to pastedowns, usual stamps and pen notation to FEP, and V cut barcode to top edge. Library stamp and small stock plate on copyright page. Jacket some very minor creasing, . Synopsis
Coalescent is a science-fiction novel by Stephen Baxter. It is part one of the Destiny's Children series, and is set in two different time periods: modern Britain, when George Poole finds that he has a previously unknown sister and follows a trail to a mysterious and ancient organisation in Rome (Puissant Order of Holy Mary Queen of Virgins); and the time of Regina, a girl growing up during the ending of Roman rule in Britain, around AD 400.
