Royal blue lettering to spine of pale blue, cloth-covered boards. With 64 black and white plates. Clean, tight, bright. 144 pp with bibliography and index. Preface by Philip Adams. This book is for anyone who loves fine china, every collector of Wedgewood, and everyone interested in the classic revival of the Eighteenth Century. The author delves into the sources of the classical designs used by Josiah Wedgewood and a look at how some of these sources were really forgeries from the Renaissance and later.
