Frontispiece plate - Cicero, from the bust in the Royal Gallery in Madrid. Tissue-guard present. Contents contain thirteen chapters and index , which is followed by a preface. A most generous list of illustrations provided and also a fold-out map - Map of the Campaign About Mutina (in excellent condition). All illustrations present (on heavier semi-gloss stock). A sample of some interesting plates are : Coins of Caesar, Coins of Nero and Agrippina, Coins of Caesar, Brutus and Anthony, etc. Advertising catalogue at the rear. Minor hinge starts but all firmly held. Boards still bright. Rubbing to front board. This book remains most serviceable and respectable.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
