Summit, New Jersey: CIBA Pharmaceutical Products, Inc., 1954. Hardcover. Very Good/poor. Hardcover with dust jacket, moss green cloth with gilt spine titles and gilt cover titles in black panel, 24.5 by 31.7 cm, xvi 286 pp., heavily illus. with full-color plates. Hardcover is very good with faint corner wear and a light musty odor. The jacket is poor with several large tears, creases and chips (now is a mylar sleeve). The second volume of Netters well-done medical illustrations, focusing on the reproductive system. Many of the plates are disturbing, even horrific for those not in the field. At the same time, they portray an artistic sensibility that Netter had mastered. (os)
