Red stained edges,brown endpapers unpaginated (112) printed on one side of the page only with 24 full page colour lithographs. Six illustrating each tale. The six lithographs in Santa Clause and his Works are by Thomas Nast and are accompanied by 7 black and white illustrations within the text. The boards are very good with a little rubbing to the spine tips, where the cloth has a couple of tiny holes, and corners where the bottom two have been rubbed through. There is also some light marking to the image on the front cover. Internally it is clear that some restoration and repair has been carried out in the past.
