Bookplate to front paste-down, "Printer's Copy" stamped on rear blank endpaper, otherwise a clean copy. Handsomely bound in three-quarter read leather and red cloth, nicely stamped on the spine. This was one of the best-selling novels of the 1890s. SIGNED by Hall Caine on the title page. .
