Taken at The White House for the President's 56th Birthday Ball Celebration. Photograph is on heavy weight stock; 10" x 8". Very good, fresh, January 30, 1938. Information slip on the back reads: "White House Reception -- In this remarkable photograph Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt is surrounded by a bevy of film and stage stars, her four sons and three daughter-in-law. It was taken at the White House where the "First Lady" entertained for the stars who took part in the President's Birthday Ball Celebration.
