Verso of the dust jacket is taped on the folds. Title on the black cloth front cover has faded onto the blank verso of the dust jacket in a green color. Slight lean to the binding. The folding map has a small crease on the edge. Previous owners illustrated bookplate on the front paste down - S. A. Lavine. Howes R 281; Adams Six Guns - "Although purporting to be a history of the Chisholm Trail, this book also contains much on outlaws, the killing of Ed Short and Charlie Bryant, the Talbot raid, the Lincoln County War, and a chapter on Henry Brown. He continues to follow the many legends about Billy the Kid and misspells many proper names.
