About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1913. Hardcover. Fine. Thomson, Hugh. 8vo, full blue cloth elaborately decorated in gilt with 7 tipped in color plates by Hugh Thomson, 1/2" tear to top of spine, modest darkening to spine, former owner touched up tips and spine top and bottom with color. Offsetting to facing page like a border, opposite each color plate, due to the acidic paper the plates are mounted on. Common to all copies we've seen. Still, a lovely bright, near fine copy with custom bookplate of Don Horter, filmmaker and photographer of the northwest.
