Although the cover states that there are 48 plates, there are actually 44 including the frontis. The total for these Ward Lock book normally inlcludes the pictorial endpapers. That being said both the plates and endpapers are very nice. Edgewear, lower corners and spine tips frayed.

Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has slightly heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
