London: Longmans, Green and Co, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Hardback: no dj, colour pictorial covers are a bit discoloured, spine tips and corners slightly bumped and rubbed, tape at top of spine, foredge and some internal foxing, top corner of first few pages creased, inscription (dated 1932) on half title, 'book belongs to' panel filled in, else vg. 4to, 184pp. 8 colour plates (4 are tipped in - 1 has some creasing on one corner) + colour and b/w illustrations by various artists (incl. Anne Anderson, Ernest Aris, Marion Jack, Joyce Mercer, Alan Wright and Stephen Southwold). 1st item: Poems for the Littlest Ones. Contributors include Stephen Southwold, Marion St John Webb, H.G. Wells, Walter de la Mare, Eleanor Farjeon etc.

London: Longmans, Green & Co.. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1930. First Edition. Paper Over Boards. Three adjacent pages (81-86) have been torn by careless opening. Some of the plates have creases where they have been bent when the pages were closed on them. Spine is darkened, and the covers lightly soiled. However, the very fragile illustrated paper cover is in remarkably nice condition, with only minor rubbing at the corners & spine ends. ; 7 1/2x10" .

Pictorial cloth with pixie on egg-timer and list of authors and illustrators. 2 small dents to bottom edge of top board. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the title page. A very good copy in a very good dw, with pictorial onlay, and only very slight edge frayed Contributors include A A Milne, Walter de la Mare, Rose Fyleman, R R Millar, Eleanor Farjeon, Chas Buchel & Phyllis Morris . A lovely copy, very scarce in a dust wrapper.
