A well thumbed copy of a much loved Ernest Nister childrens book. Overall wear and signs of handling to binding. Wonderful full colour illustrations by the talented hand of John Lawson throughout plus many charming vignettes to support the text. All pages are present and correct and the binding is still holding. Lightly marked interior commensurate with the books grand old age of over one hundred years ! Nontheless a decent copy of a scarce and elusive title.. First Edition. Good. Illus. by JOHN LAWSON. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION.
