Edinburgh: Pillans and Wilson, 1920. 1st Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. N/a. Type: Z 370pp. Frontispiece of Chester Cathedral. Gilt embossed title to spine and to front board. Numerous other illustrations - some full page - illustrate the text - all collated and as called for. A very good, clean, tight copy. Former owner's name and date on a piece of paper pasted to the front endpaper. One corner bumped and one corner a little turned in. Some toning to the endpapers. Light foxing to the title page - scattered and slight elsewhere. A very good, well preserved, clean, tight copy.
