Edinburgh: Pillans and Wilson, 1920. 1st Edition. Cloth. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Type: Z 370pp. Frontispiece of Chester Cathedral. Gilt embossed title to spine and to front board. Numerous other illustrations - some full page - illustrate the text. Internally very clean with some age toning to end paper and only very slight occasional foxing. The spine is sunned. The boards are soiled in places. Some splitting to cloth along edge of spine but not loose in any part. Several corners bumped. A good copy of a fascinating book.
