Contents are clean, binding secure. Jack Cardini spent much of life on board a ship working in the gallery. During WWII he cooked on troop ships. Opening his first restaurant in Oakland, CA, in the early 50's. Moving to Sacramento Cardini became one of the first television chefs. His show was not only one of the earliest in television history (KGO-TV) it was wildly popular. This book served as a template for most of the dishes at Mister McGoo's (1965-2015), a landmark bar and restaurant in Petaluma, CA. ; 8vo .
