Toronto: McLelland and Stewart, 1932. Hardcover; 8vo; 250 pages. FIRST EDITION. Signed by the illustrator on the title-page. A scarce copy with a dj. Purple cloth hardcovers with gilt lettering on cover and spine. Lightly faded at head and tail edge of spine where the jacket is bumped. Blue map endpapers, with prev. owner's name in pen on ffep. Tops dyed red, but faded. The pages are yellowing at the ends but still bright and clean. The jacket is grey paper with blue text and grey illustrations. Heavily sunned spine, with fading around head and fore edges. Bumped/chipped head/tail of spine. Small spots of water near fore-edge. VG+/G+. By Illustrator. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Good+. Illus. by Stephens, Barbara.
