This is a new edition. Three volumes. Volume I is very good. Volume II is very good and Volume III is fair. The front hinge is partially torn on Volume III. The frontis has the tissue intact on all three volumes. A historical critical and biographical of authors in the English tongue from the earliest times till the present day, with specimens of their writings. Volume I has 832 pages. Volume II has 832 pages and Volume III has 858 pages.
