William Kimber, 1959. Hardcover. Good/Good. 6th edition. The jacket is a bit shelf rubbed and edge worn. There are closed tears and creases along the edges. It is protected in cellophane. The boards show little wear. They are strong and sturdy. Internally, there is a previous owners signature on the front end page. Very light foxing. Otherwise clean. Tightly bound. [ak]. William Kimber, 1959. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good. Dustwrapper is slightly rubbed and worn, more pronounced to top and bottom of spine spine. There is also an area on the front cover which is slightly lighter than the rest, looks like something may have been rubbed off, not especially significant. Wrapper is now in a clear removable protective sleeve. Not price clipped, no inscriptions, illustrated. Bright and clean internally with very little wear. Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.

In Lincoln green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips, titles on spine a little faded. Previous owner's name, dated 1959, on front free endpapers, else internally neat and clean. In its original illustrated dust jacket, rubbed and chipped at edges with some very minor loss, scuff on spine and perhaps a tad faded. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve. Mike Hawthorn's autobiography up to the end of 1957. Lovely vintage, evocative copy recalling the heyday of gritty motor racing.
