It is "the early 19th-c. white frame building a hundred yards north of the Princeton circle on Route 1, on the northbound side of the divided highway. The church was founded in Penns Neck but moved to Princeton around 1850+. It struggled, split, &c., and regrouped back at the original building in Penns Neck. Hence the combination name."
