H. S. Nichols, 1895. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Complete in 8 volumes. Imperial Japan Library Edition printed throughout on Japanese Vellum, with photogravures in two states. Limited to 100 numbered copies - this is Copy No 42. All volumes in Very good condition. Original mid brown buckram boards with spine labels. Normal wear to extremities. All volumes have original spine labels with tanning to labels and some darkening to spines. Internally VERY CLEAN indeed with each copy having the attractive heraldic private bookplate of "J. Robinson Pease" on front endpaper. .
