First presented in its original form as a doctoral dissertation at the Catholic University of America. Illustrated with 5 pages of sepia toned photographs with one being the frontis piece. Nine appendices, 7 page description of the sources used and a 10 page index. Usual library markings though all neatly done and from the date due slip, the book was never taken out. Mild wear to the spine tips and board corners and the gilt lettering on the spine is dulled. .
