Three-quarter leather with marbled boards and matching marbled endpapers. Six compartments on spine with titles stamped in gilt inside one. Top edges gilt. Prefatory note by W. Stanton Howard. xvii, 218 pp. 292 black and white plates. Artist name index at front. Catalogue of the substantial art collection held by New York City merchant and art collector George A. Hearn. Owner annotations (initials RCV) on front flyleaf state that many of the best pictures in this collection were kept and not included in either of the sales. Further annotations laid in on two pieces of paper and noted in captions under plates give clues to eventual distribution of some of these paintings. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

After running an open shop for twenty years in the historic village of Schuylerville we now sell books online and at book fairs.
