Contemporary half leather and marbled boards. Spine toned, joints tender. Very good. Lithographic portrait, woodcut title. xxiv, [1]-86, [1, announcement of the Round Tower sale in London], [97]-250 pp., priced throughout in ink; Aedes Stawberrianae, 20 pp. list of printed prices and buyers; vi, 131 pp. 1 vols. 4to. Later state of the celebrated Walpole sale catalogue.
At day 6, the text ends with lot 160 (lots 161-187 have been removed), there is an inserted announcement for the London sale of the books and prints from the Round Tower, and days 7 and 8 have been removed.
