Vintage paperback, Signet Q3924; Crichton's first novel, an Edgar Award-winning mystery written while he was still a medical intern and using the pseudonymn Jeffrey Hudson; the book was the basis for a movie starring James Coburn and Jennifer O'Neil; one-reader text is clean, tight, square, very lightly age-tanned in almost perfect pictorial wrappers showing very minimal reading crease. Scarce in collectable condition.
Synopsis
A Case of Need is a mystery novel written by Michael Crichton under the pseudonym Jeffery Hudson. It was first published in 1968 by The World Publishing Company (New York) and won an Edgar Award in 1969. The novel was re-released in 1993 under Crichton's own name.
