Hardcover. Publisher: Bonnier Carlsen | 2009 | Hardcover | 32 p. | This book is brand new. | Language: Svenska --- Information regarding the book: En modern klassiker! | We have this book in our store house - please allow for a couple of extra days for delivery.

New York: Boo-Hooray Gallery, 2010. Pamphlet. SIGNED, limited edition. Fine single sheet with a light bend to one corner. SHIPS THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, WRAPPED IN PADDING AND CARDBOARD. The limited edition, closing night party announcement for the exhibition "Carl Johan De Geer and The Swedish Underground 1964-1976" featuring the band Endless Boogie and "milk & cookies for the kids." A single sheet of 8.5 x 11-inch stiff yellow paper, printed in blue, designed and SIGNED BY DE GEER and numbered, 28/60. The show was a survey of de Geer's photographs of life in Sweden as part of the arts underground of the 1960s and '70s and was held at the Boo-Hooray Gallery, NYC, January - February, 2010. De Geer (b. 1938) is a Swedish artist, writer, and musician. He was born into a noble family but rejected his birth-right and family in the 1960s and became an underground artist. He photographed relentlessly in the vein of Ed van der Elsken and Daido Moriyama, made films, participated in an underground art periodical called Puss, and with his wife at the time, produced art which was confiscated and destroyed by the Swedish police. Over the years he's also designed textiles, made silkscreens and paintings, produced a television program (reputedly loved by children and scorned by critics), and written novels and children's books.
