Paris: Crapelet, 1850. Reprint Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. 24mo 5" - 6" tall. Uber-scarce in the trade, there being no additional copies available on-line currently. Edited with a page of explanation and the colophon by A.V. [Auguste Veinant]. Text in French, printed in Paris by Crapelet in 1850, being a reprint of the 1622 edition. A slender volume, only 16 pp. and with a single blank leaf at the end. New full blue oasis Morocco binding with gilt lettering on the spine and a gilt fleu-de-lis in the center of both front and rear boards, a simple but exquisite binding by Pat Bruno in 2000. Partially unopened. Fine as to contents. What appears to be a newspaper-based review of the book as it appeared in 1850 and noting that the volume was printed in only 62 copies.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
