New York: Thomas Seltzer, 1923. Bound in the publishers slate - blue fine ribbed cloth with gilt title lettering to front board and spine. This is a collection of three absorbing novelettes which are The Captain's Doll, The Fox and The Ladybird. The 323 pages remain in clean, presentable condition and are tightly bound. Previous owners name on the front free endpaper is small and discreet. No further inscriptions throughout the book. All pages are present and correct with no loose leaves. Very light wear to the edges of binding otherwise very good. Minimal signs of handling overall. Book sits solid and square. Photographs of the book are available on request. A very presentable copy of this excellent collection of three novelettes from one of English literatures greatest writers.. First Edition. Very Good.
