Blue boards are good but show slight fading at the edges, spine is tight, gold lettering is very good, looks as original. Heavy off white endpapers are in very good condition. Pages are good, clean, unmarked except for a slight amount of checking forming on page edges. Section toward the rear of the book contains many very interesting black/white photographs, illustrations. Dust jacket is good with minor amounts of wear, scuffing on surface.
