San Jose, CA: The Campus Voice, 1963. 8 pages each, except for issue 4, which is 6 pages, 8.5x14 inch sheets stapled at upper left corner, all edgeworn with toned paper, issue 11 with penned address and postage stamp on rear wrap, 2.5 inch closed tear extending from page 3 through page 8, and pen underlining and notations on pages 2 and 3, issue 3 with damp stain along bottom edge, Number 7 with pencil underlining on page 5, else generally good condition. Includes coverage of drug laws, an interview with Leo Koch, assistant professor of biology at the University of Illinois, who was fired for writing a letter to the student newspaper saying "there is no valid reason why sexual intercourse should not be condoned among those sufficiently mature to engage in it without social consequences and without violating their own codes of morality and ethics", an article on James Baldwin's appearance in San Jose (the editors had hoped to interview Baldwin, but finding him busy with a Time Magazine interview, interviewed his personal secretary and traveling companion Ed Fales), and more.
