About This Item

From front DJ flap: "The largest, clearest and most valuable pictorial history of the Civil War published in one volume, reproduced exactly as the sought after and long out of print original edition. There are over 1000 illustrations of every possible kind imaginable: battle scenes...cartoons...songs of the Confederacy...songs of the Federalists...Brady photographs...maps...facsimiles...etc." "This book carefully outlines the causes leading up to the furious struggle; it recreates in authentic detail the violent battles on land and sea; it honestly portrays the military leader and the fierce fighting foot soldier..."

Book - Very Good- condition. Spine and cover edges show discoloration. Corner wear. Pages appear to be lightly tanned, plus there are light stains on the closed book page edges. Price stamp on front end paper. Otherwise clean. Pages are tight in binding, but book has obviously been laid flat and opened.
Dust Jacket - Fair condition. Color is good, but there is much wear to edges, flaps, and spine. Plus rubbing, bumping, and tears. Also, large chips especially at top and bottom of spine.
Please see photos.

533 pages. Plus, Index. Large format book and will probably require a small amount of additional postage.
