Hardcover. vg in cloth boards, no dust jacket, presumably as issued; lite fading to spine, board edges gently rubbed/bumped, signed and dated in 1916 on the free front endpaper by the original owner and by a presumed offspring in 1944; text is tight, square and unmarked and binding is remarkably sound; a very clean well-preserved copy
