Delhi: S. Chand & Co, 1957. Hardcover. xxv, 693p, LVIII (plates), illustrated with a folded line map and b&w period imagery, hardbound in fat 9x6 inch beige cloth boards spine-titled in black. Spine panel a bit faded, black titling untouched, despite a little bubbling of cloth a tight sound copy with the usual India-presswork oddnesses (legibility unaffected), a sound peculiar copy with just two rubberstamp owner/dealer notices to endsheets, no soil, no markings.
