Undated, but events cited in text suggest early 1975, when Lon Nol's forces were encircled in Phnom Penh. Calls for the US to drop all aid to the Cambodian government and let the Khmer Rouge forces overwhelm Lon Nol. "Why prolong a certain bloodbath on the off-chance that there will be a bloodbath if the Khmer Rouge take power?
