About This Item

Franklin Center, PA: The Franklin Library, 1989. Hardcover. Very Good/no jacket, as issued. lightest wear to the book, no jacket as issued. Clean and unmarked. Brown and gilt leather, all edges gilt. An entry in The Franklin Library of Mystery Masterpieces. Not a Perry Mason mystery. Doug Selby, the newly elected District Attorney is faced with a difficult case. Was it murder? Even Sylvia Martin, the reporter for the Clarion (the friendly newspaper that supported his campaign, and was loyal to him afterwards) gave him only 24 hours to solve the crime — and prove himself worthy of the office. The title prety much gives away his decision. Most items ship with free delivery confirmation, electronic tracking and jacket protectors (generally over $10.00) if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
