London: Routledge, Warnes & Routledge, 1859. Hardcover; 8vo; 552 pages. Full leather binding, tan calf with gilt lettering on a red crushed morocco label on spine. Five slightly raised bands, with gilt designs on five panels. Gilt crest on front. Blind borders on upper and lower boards, as well as a blind tooling on edges and turnover. Sppin eslightly dry. Light to moderately scuffed boards, edges rubbed. Edges of text block marbled, with matching marbled endpapers. Presentation plate on fep. Bright and clean interiors, well bound. A beautiful school-presentation copy, fairly well kept. VG+/--. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket.
