NY: Harcourt Brace & Co., 1935. Book is only in good condition - Shows discoloration to front panel and gilt on spine is faded but readable (barely). Overall, the book is tight and clean with no faults to the interior or the pages. Signed by the author on a 1" X 3" paper affixed to the half-title page. It is fitted with a facsimile dust jacket that fits the book perfectly. The author's third book (second novel). which some consider his best work. Basis for the Daniel Mann film that starred Elizabeth Taylor and Laurence Harvey in the title roles. 310 pp.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fine (Facsimile DW).
