About This Item
Elkhart, Indiana: Buescher Band Instrument Company, 1928. Original wraps. Near Fine. Wonderful 1928 catalogue from the Buescher Band Instrument Company of Elkhart, Indiana, showcasing the latest offerings in their impressive selection of band and orchestra instruments. Virtually every page includes detailed engraved images of Buescher's selections, such as soprano, alto, tenor and bass saxophones, true-tone, symphony, utility and parlor and Sunday school trumpets, Fluegel, coach, popular ballad and true-tone French horns, tenor and alto valve, small and medium and large bore slide trombones, various strands of baritones, basses, woodwind instruments, etc. A vast range, all beautifully illustrated. And the catalogue itself crisp and very well-preserved in its stapled light-brown wrappers. Tight and Near Fine, with just a touch of light soiling at several of the lower page edges. Oblong quarto, also includes a laid-in copy of the publisher's "Complete Price List" booklet. A wonderful piece of Americana and an uncommon, pre-Depression music catalogue.
