Illustrated with fantastic full page and smaller color lithographs throughout the book that are well printed. In addition to illustrating children's books, Trnka was a successful puppeteer and animator. He was known as the "Walt Disney of Eastern Europe. In 1968 he was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen medal for his body of work in children's books. This title is very sarce.
