About This Item

Brattleboro, VT: Stephen Daye Press, 1936. 1st. Cloth. Collectible; Fine/Very Good. 1936 1st edition of this charming real-life look at Bruce the lobster fisherboy, who lives and fishes off the coast of Maine on a tiny island called Crie Haven. Clean and Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG- dustjacket, with light chipping at the spine ends, panel edges and tips and light, inconspicuous staining along the inside of the dustjacket. Still though, a very presentable copy. 12mo, 72 pgs., wonderful black-and-white photos by Samuel B. Lincoln.
