Oxford University Press, London, 1937. First Edition. Softcover (Stiff Boards). Very Good Condition/Poor. Illustrator: J. Phillips Paterson. Colour illustrated frontispiece and the decorations within the text have been drawn by J. Phillips Paterson. Pale brown coloured paperback binding with red coloured decoration and titles to the front panel and back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A another investigation by Freddie Browne and Jim Fanshaw. Chipping of the backstrip corners. Some sunning to the top edge. Some creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the panels. Age toning and foxing of the textblock edges and pages. Some foxing splotches to the first few and last few pages of the book. Chipping of the backstrip edges and to the top dustwrapper edge. The front panel has become detached from the front fold over panel and there is quite noticeable chipping along the rear panel edge. Handling marks to the verso. Size: 12mo (standard paperback).
