"Broadway Bound" debuted at the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway in New York City on November 25, 1986 and closed on September 25, 1988, for a run of 756 performances. The third in Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical "Eugene" trilogy, following "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and "Biloxi Blues." The series tells the story of Eugene Jerome as he grows up in New York City, attends basic training in Mississippi during World War II, and then begins his career as a comedy writer. Basis for the 1992 television movie directed by Paul Bogart and starring Anne Bancroft. Winner of two 1987 Tony Awards, nominated for two others, and nominated for the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama as well. Set in Brighton Beach, New York. White untitled wrappers.
